Welcome to hand-painted wallpapers, straight from the Ocre Designs studio.

Each panel is painted with meticulous care and expertise by a small team in Toowoomba Queensland, lead by artist Tarn McLean. 

How it works: All hand painted designs are adjusted to fit your walls and interiors, with specifications to fit measurements including windows and doorways. 

Custom Colour: You’re welcome to create your own colour-way to match your interior. 

Process: Once you have supplied us with the specific dimensions of your walls and background colour choice, we will provide you with a digital drawing and mock-up of your walls as well as a hand painted sample. Once you have confirmed your order we will proceed with production. 

Timeframe: Please allow up to 6-8 weeks for your panels to be customised, painted and shipped. 

Product information: A choice of either silk or non-woven smooth or textured paper. We recommend a low sheen glaze to protect your painted flowers. All products are paste-up and we recommend professional wallpaper installers to hang your panels. 

Pricing: Each design is created in panels to fit your walls with the design altered to range between 180cm – 320cm. We can alter the designs and quote if the height of your wall is beyond 320cm. The total price is invoiced in three stages, from sampling, production and delivery.

Lyrebird and Flannel Flower

Hand-painted Chinoiserie is the perfect design for either wallpaper, framed panels for a bedhead or dressing screen. In soft silver and greys, this design captures the male and female Lyrebirds amongst trailing flannel flowers and daisies. 

Cherry Blossom

The deadly Nightshade has purple flowers and sweet berries, both of which are poisonous to eat. This dark, alluring wallpaper design is painted with pigments, offering colour shifts and a velvety finish.

Red Waratah

The rich reds associated with the exotic Waratah, Greviliea, Firewheel and Cockspur botanicals are a beautifull contrast with touches of turquoise and olive green in this velvety wallpaper. Beautiful colour shifts occur as you move around the wall - a statement wallpaper for the daring and bold.
