ART SERVICE - HOW IT WORKS

Commissioned art, fabric, and wallpaper created exclusively for your space

Some interiors require something that simply doesn’t exist on the open market.

If you are looking for artwork, fabric, or wallpaper that feels completely personal and something no one else has, Tarn works privately with clients to create bespoke pieces designed specifically for their home or project.

Each project begins with conversation and evolves into original artworks and custom designs created exclusively for the client.

 

THE PROCESS

1. Initial Conversation

Every project begins with a discussion about your space, your aesthetic sensibility, and what you’re looking for.

This may include:

• Artwork for a specific room
• Custom wallpaper or fabric
• Complete art-led direction for an interior

The goal is simple: to understand the atmosphere and identity you want the space to hold.

2. Concept & Artwork Development

Tarn develops sketches, paintings, and visual concepts based on the conversation.

These may include:

• Original artworks
• Colour studies
• Custom fabric or wallpaper concepts

This stage allows the client to see how the idea begins to take form.

3. Design Creation

Once the concept is approved, Tarn develops the final artwork or design.

Depending on the project this may include:

• Finished painting
• Custom wallpaper design
• Bespoke fabric design
• Samples or strike-offs for approval

4. Production & Delivery

The final artwork or design is produced and delivered for installation in the space.

Each piece is created exclusively for the client and is not available on the open market.

 

The Result

 Instead of searching endlessly for pieces that almost work, you have something created specifically for you.

A work of art, or an artwork translated into fabric or wallpaper, designed for you and your space.

The result is an interior anchored by something personal and original.

Option 1 Hero Artwork

• Original painting created for the space.

Option 2 Hero Fabric / Wallpaper Design

• Original design and art for fabric or wallpaper with co-ordinating design

Option 3 Artwork + Textile/Wallpaper Design

• Original painting plus custom fabric or wallpaper concept derived from the artwork.

Option 4 Art-Led Room

• Artwork + wallpaper/fabric + colour direction and styling for the room.
